Low Voltage Landscape Lighting

Low Voltage Landscape Lighting Can Give Your Home Strong Curb Appeal

Few things are more important in home ownership than curb appeal.  What people think about your home as they drive past shapes their opinions of you as a neighbor.  What you think of your home is more important than anyone else.  You want your home to invite you in every time you see it.  Your home should call to you and make you feel like it is the perfect place of respite from the world.  Low voltage landscape lighting can be a big part of providing that perfect ambiance you desire around your home.

Whether you prefer a rustic or antique style of fixture, there are many choices of low voltage landscape lighting available.  Many people choose to use solar powered lighting.  The advantage is there are no wires since the power is provided by the sun. Obviously, if you live in an area where the skies are often overcast, the brightness of the lights will be affected by the lack of energy. The low voltage system is an easy-to-use and cost effective way to provide endless lighting for your walkway or garden area.

A great example of low voltage landscape lighting is the Kichler Cross Creek Garden Path Light.  The item number is KIC108.  The lights include an eight inch stake that will provide durability against the weather.  The bronze finish is aged and the glass panels are textured.  Depending on the number of lights you wish to use in your yard, you will have to choose a transformer that will provide the voltage required.  The transformer plugs into any normal household outlet.  The total wattage of the lamps must be less than the total output of the transformer.  If you need more wattage, choose a more powerful transformer.  It is that easy.

Perhaps you would prefer an invisible light source accenting your home.  The Hinkley 50-Watt MR-16 Well Light can provide it for you. The lighting unit is recessed below ground level but bathes your home in beautiful light.  Nothing can complete the perfect look of your landscape project like the low voltage landscape lighting.  You will be proud of your home and your house will be the envy of everyone on the block.
